Help->About version
Published on March 29, 2005 By Chris TH In ObjectDock
When I check the 'Help->About' it still shows 1.11.518u (same as 1.11.009 in SDC).

The readme seems to say the update is only refreshes of included docklets, so how to tell if the update succeeded?

1.11.518u would be a newer version than 1.11.010..so you have the newer version...even tho SDC shows 1.11...mine is the same..I'm sure it's something in SDC that needs to be worked on yet... but it did inform me and install the update, so that part is working.Or so it seems to me

Heh Don't be fooled ... When I had v1.11.009 (as reported by SDC) it also showed 1.11.518u in 'Help->About'

This seems to be the case with a lot of the apps I get via SDC that the version shown in SDC is not the same as in the actual app itself. Eg, BandVWM shows as 1.95b[b].003 in SDC but in 'about' it's 1.95 (build 47). OK, it's close (like OD+) but not the same.

Similar with RightClick....

Exactly why I put the "Or so it seems to me" in there Oh well, ObjectZip works well on a mouth too, I'll shut up

The most recent update on SDC for OD+ only updated two docklets, nothing else. It didn't touch the actual build of the dock itself, so Object Dock is still build 11.11.518u. The build number isn't going to change until there is actually a change in the core OD files, not just a couple of random docklets that come with it. Hope that makes sense as to why the build number isn't changing.

That's pretty much what I've concluded... As long as it's working as advertised (which it is!) - then I'm happy.
